The OnStage Peru is a 7 day / 6 night experience that surrounds the Karachacha Fest Peru presenting unique opportunities for High School, College and Community based Music or Dance ensembles to integrate with International artists and perform at featured venues at Peru’s premiere Jazz Music & Dance Festival.

The Experience

A life-changing professional touring performance experience.   Each attending ensemble will:

  • Perform in professionally staged environments without safety issues or language barriers
  • Headline your own concert performance
  • Collaborate with internationally acclaimed Afro-Peruvian musicians and dancers
  • Level up your skillset through full-body Afro-Peruvian rhythm workshops
  • Provide service and make a difference in underserved Peruvian communities
  • Experience Afro-Peruvian Music with the greatest performers in the world

Saturday, June 21st

  • Tour the Miraflores Market
  • Joint rehearsal with Peruvian guest artist

  • Attend evening Peña Don Porfirio music venue

Sunday, June 22nd

  • Peruvian Body Rhythm Workshop
  • Closing ceremonies and Farewell Concert
  • Performance

Monday, June 23rd

  • Check out
